SPRING IS HERE
Instructors are chasing all over property looking for Easter eggs before returning to the serious business of reviewing rescue techniques and risk management with Jamie Boulding this afternoon.
Chef Jessie Porter Dufour has returned to us from his winter in Italy and Easter dinner was outstanding. I overheard people saying, "This is the best dinner I remember eating in...." and then not being able to complete the sentence. Maybe best dinner ever. The kitchen is the only place we're still hiring, but what an opportunity it would be to work with Jessie, our truly inspired chef, for the 2009 season or years ahead.
The office rennovation is in almost complete with the beautiful new front desk built by Richard Dugas installed this morning. Finally we're stepping out of the 'Welcome to the 70's' front office look. Hopefully all the people returning for the 50th reunion will still know they've arrived 'home' when they walk in.
