Students rock climb and rappel on one of our three climbing bluffs, 8 - 15 metres in height. Rock climbingIntroductory skills are taught on an outdoor stone wall and indoor climbing wall. Harnesses, helmets, ropes and all technical gear are supplied. Additional climbing sites in Strathcona Provincial Park are also close by.

ROPES COURSE AND ZIP-LINE
*Only available with a Private Guide, as a Daily Adventure, or part of a Program
The Low and High Ropes are exciting and powerful elements in the Strathcona Program. The Low Ropes Course consists of a series of personal and group challenges where good communication and support is essential as students work with their peers solving various ropes course challenges.
On the High Ropes and Zip-Line, students are harnessed to overhead safety cables while they walk across bridges, logs and cables high up in the trees, or zoom 50m down the Zip-Line on a pulley. Participants will meet challenges head on and push themselves to new heights.

SUNDEW BOG
A quiet walk through the forest brings groups to an outstanding sphagnum bog. Expect to see the carnivorous Sundew plant, Labrador tea and curious trees that are naturally stunted. This is a favorite place to view some of the areas more abundant wildlife.

HIKING TRAILS
Strathcona has a network of hiking trails for interpretive and survival walks as well as camping trips. Strathcona Provincial Park's extensive trail system is just a short distance away.
