HIKING IN STRATHCONA PARK
Strathcona Provincial Park offers an extensive trail system just a short drive from the Lodge.

Strathcona Park Lodge has a network of hiking trails for interpretive and survival walks as well as camping trips. The helpful front desk staff can give you a map and advice on the best routes.

(first night and last nights at SPL, 3 nights camping)

Explore the oldest Provincial Park in British Columbia; pristine alpine lakes, giant old-growth trees, flower-filled alpine meadows, and snow capped peaks. Follow the Bedwell Trail up to remote Cream Lake for breathtaking views of Nine Peaks and Della Falls. First and last nights at SPL, 3 nights camping.Hiking above Buttle Lake

Day 1 Arrive at Strathcona Park Lodge between 4:00-5:00 pm. Relax, settle into your room... go for a refreshing swim in the lake. At 5:00, meet your instructor and group. After dinner receive pack, provisions, and instruction for the trek.

Day 2 After breakfast, depart for the trailhead. Hike Bedwell trail to Bedwell Lake campsite (base camp).

Day 3 Day hike to Cream Lake, with views of Della Falls and Nine Peaks.

Day 4 Day hike to Mt Tom Taylor or into the Bedwell Valley.

Day 5 Depart Bedwell Lake and hike out to the trailhead and drive back to the Lodge.

Day 6 Hearty breakfast and depart by 11:00 am.

Alpine viewsIncludes: accommodation (double occupancy), meals and out-trip food (from dinner on arrival day through breakfast on departure day), tents (2 person), transportation within the package, instruction and guiding services of an experienced outdoor leader(s).

Group size is a maximum of 10. Clients will be sent an equipment list and medical/liability form prior to arrival.

Note 1: Trip is subject to a minimum of 2 persons and a maximum of 10 persons.
