We are well represented again at this years Snow to Surf. We have 5 teams from the Lodge competing and countless SPL alumni on other teams. For all SPL staff and alumni lets meet between 3:30-4:00 at the bleachers for a group photo.

The staff at Play! We really love what we do and when we aren’t sharing the outdoors with you we are going on our own adventures. This photo was taken by Dan Kilburn while on a white water kayaking trip down the lower Gold River.
Staff have been enjoying the wonderful weather exploring all over Vancouver Island. A popular staff/school trip this year has been a visit to Burman River which has been busy with Whales, Seals, Sea Lions, Bears and more. This is a picture of the Salmon swimming up the Gold River on the start of a visit to the Burman River.
Best of luck to Richard Dugas and Amy Heath who started their bike across Canada last week. This will be the third time for Richard as he has done it East to West and West to East. Starting in St. Johns they will be making their way back to Strathcona Park Lodge & Outdoor Education Centre in August!
Thank you for your interest in staying with us at Strathcona Park Lodge and Outdoor Education Centre - we look forward to welcoming you!

The Lodge, as it’s affectionately known, is forty minutes by car south west of Campbell River, close to the geographic centre of Vancouver Island. It sits just outside of Strathcona Provincial Park on Upper Campbell Lake and is ideally situated for exploring this exciting and little known area of Vancouver Island.
