Mount Washington is Open!!

Last year was an epic year for snow on Mount Washington and this year  the mountain opened up a week earlier than planned.

If your looking for a comfortable bed and a warm place to dry your clothes take a look at our accommodation on Mt. Washingont.  Hot tub, sauna, drying room and more right on the mountain.

Check out the video below to see how good a day at Mount Washington can be.

Staff at Play

On July 5th some of the staff members went on a hike into the mountains of Strathcona Provincial Park and summit Mt. Septimus. On the first day they ascended to Cream Lake where they camped for the night. Early in the morning they took off to try and beat the snow melt and summit Mt. Septimus. Below are some photos of their trip. Feel free to stop by the office and talk to the friendly folks of Strathcona Park Lodge to check on the trail conditions, river levels and more.

Great view from the summit.

Anyone know the name of this mountain?

Making the way to the summit.

Ask the staff how to get to this spot in Strathcona Provincial Park.
