ACTIVITIES
Nowhere else can your friends and family enjoy themselves so completely, leading to a group of relaxed and happy wedding guests. Activities for outdoor enthusiasts, quiet walks in the Park and paddles on the lake for time to reflect, and events of organized hilarity for the whole crowd are our specialty. We have ropes courses, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, swimming, scenic hiking trails and breathtaking vistas from your deck chair.

A destination wedding at Strathcona Park Lodge brings far flung family and friends together to get to know one another, to play together, and to celebrate together. It’s a magical setting with the flexibility to ensure that you r wedding reflects you! Our log and timber chalets are nestled on 160 acres on the shore of Upper Campbell Lake in the heart of Vancouver Island and next to Strathcona Provincial Park.
WEDDING VENUES
While the waterfront has been our most popular site, nearby waterfalls, and indoors in the Barn, all have their own charm. One wedding can have gatherings of various sizes from the rehearsal dinner to the big event. All the dining and gathering venues share our spectacular view of Upper Campbell Lake and the Peaks of Strathcona Park.
• The Canoe Club Café seats 25, perfect for an intimate rehearsal dinner.
• The Hi-Bracer Lounge seats 40, great for a welcome reception, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
• The Whale Room seats 80 (not including deck seating), for the ‘morning after’ brunch
• The Barn seats 125 and doubles as the dance floor with its great sound system, TV and DVD
• The South Beach is perfect for the sunflower brides, both informal and formal, and we can even provide an expert paddler to canoe the bride and her maids to the beach

ACCOMMODATIONS
Imagine waking up to a view of snow-caped peaks, emerald forests, and crystal clear lakes… Lodging ranges from our intimate ‘honeymoon cottage,’ other waterfront cottages that sleep 2 to 12, post and beam chalet rooms, to large self-contained chalets built especially with groups in mind. All accommodation is non-smoking. The variety of accommodations is perfect, as Great Aunt Maude may require something different from your school friends, with pricing appropriate for a range of budgets and up to 125 guests.
MENUS
Our West Coast Cuisine and Bar service features local products made from scratch, that are healthful, and look and taste amazing. Choose from our menu, service and price options.

Our Executive Chef will even incorporate an old family recipe, and can cater to vegetarian, vegan and gluten free guests. Food prepared and served with love! Check out our catered buffets and suggestions for receptions in our Banquet Menus Package or check out our Dining page.
