A little known gem on Vancouver Island is Burman River where wildlife is abundant, especially in later summer early fall as the Salmon run up the river.

Some say nothing is more canadian than canoeing. If you looking for a place to learn or rent a canoe look no further than Strathcona Park Lodge. We have plenty of canoes of different sizes to choose from.

Some days on Upper Campbell Lake are so calm it looks like a mirror. This photo was taken on a summer day while hanging out in a tree. While hanging out in the tree a couple staff paddled by. This particular Canoe is a newer fibre glass boat which is light (great for portaging) and very maneuverable. Come on by and paddle it for yourself.
